The value of the investment is more than 80 million euros, and up to 500 workers should be employed in the factory, which has 14,000 square meters. The company Lianbo founded a company in Serbia in June 2023 and received state subsidies of around six million euros for the production of rotors and stators, and committed to invest 57.48 million euros by the end of 2026. The opening of the factory was attended by Minister of Defense Miloš Vucevic, Mayor of Novi Sad Milan Đurić, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Ming. Vucevic said that the opening of the factory in Kać is the result of serious work, a clear strategy, but also of steel friendship between Serbia and China. "We expect that the number of employees from Serbia will increase, that salaries will be good and competitive, in line with the highest average salary, which, along with Belgrade, also characterizes Novi Sad," Vučević pointed out. Lianbo is a family company based in Zhenjiang (Jiangsu Province) that employs more than 800 people in its existing three factories in China, and is also known for the production of components for the needs of Volkswagen, Nidec and Bosch. "In the future, our mission is to become the standard in the global fast stamping industry for engine parts and the world's leading service provider in the automotive industry. We want to become a safe and reliable global partner of the greatest trust for our many customers," the company's general manager underlined Lianbo Qingpong Shaw. |
