CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-level Meeting was held at 1 pm Croatian time today. General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. The theme of this dialogue is “PATH TOWARDS MODERNISATION: THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POLITICAL PARTIES”. Many political parties and leaders attended the meeting, Mr. Mario Rendulić, the president of the presidency of CSEBA and Mr. Joshua Cong, the president of CSEBA China have attended in Croatia. This is the third time that CSEBA has been invited to participate from the first session in 2017, the second session in 2021 and the third session in 2023. Here are some highlights: Ultimate goal of modernization falls on people's free, comprehensive development The ultimate goal of modernization is to realize people's free and comprehensive development. Political parties should focus on people's aspirations for a better life and further progress of civilization, and strive to achieve material abundance, political integrity, cultural-ethical enrichment, social stability and pleasant living environments so that modernization will better address people's concerns and meet their diversified needs. In this way, modernization will promote the sustainable development of humanity by increasing the well-being of this generation and protecting the rights and interest of future ones. Modernization is not "an exclusive patent" of a small handful of countries, nor is it a single answer question. Modernization cannot be realized by a cookie cutter approach or simple "copy and paste". For any country to achieve modernization, it needs not only follow the general laws governing the process, but more importantly consider its own national conditions and unique features. CSEBA was established with jointly help of Ex - President Mesić Stjepan during the visit of Ex General Secretary of CPC Hu Jintao to Croatia in 2009, In the past 14 years, the Association has played a very important role in changing the views of people on China in Southeast Europe. The Communist Party of China (CPC) is committed to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with other political parties to pursue the just cause together. The CPC is ready to deepen interactions with political parties and organizations in other countries to expand the convergence of ideas and interests. Xi calls for leveraging the strength of a new type of party-to-party relations for building a new type of international relations and expanding global partnerships by fostering stronger partners with world political parties. |
