BUDGET REBALANCE
Budget deficit at 5-6% of GDP
Author/source: SEEbizLJUBLJANA - Prior to revising the budget, the Government will consult social partners in order to "strike a balance between saving and investing under such harsh circumstances", Slovenia's PM Borut Pahor explained the interuption of government session yesterday.
The new rebalance will increase the budget deficit from announced 4.9% to 5-6% in GDP.
Also, budget revenues will be cut by EUR 900mn to some EUR 7.9bn, although it is still not known how much higher budget expenditure will be, previously set at EUR 9.7bn.
